New rims and tires

I've got a 86 with blocks in the back and I'm putting BJ spacers on the front. I'm also getting new rims and tires. I'm looking at 32x11.50x15 Pro Comp Mud terrains with 52 Rock Crawlers by pro comp too. What would be a good backspacing to get to stick the tires out there a bit. The ones I'm looking at have 2.5".

Not sure about the wheel backspacing, but if you plan on wheeling much, I'd toss those lift blocks and get yourself some proper lift springs. Blocks focus the energy too much in the center, and will damage your springs over time. Good luck on the wheels--sorry I couldn't be of help there.

Backspacing is the amount of distance between the inside mounting surface of the wheel and the inside rim of the wheel. That's not going to tell you how far the tires will stick out, because you haven't said what width rims you're using. Compare your backspacing with your rim width to find out where the center of the rim is, then add half your tire width, and that's how far they'll stick out.

im running the same size rubbers with 15x8 rims they have 4 Backspace but with 1.25 wheel spacers brings them to 2.75 bs which imo is prefect stance if you off road a bit. heres a picture of how that looks

this is with a 15x10 rims with like 4 inch bs. as DD and never sees much flex than this is prefect lol but again this is with 15x10 rims

thanks. i did go to UTI. how you know lol. if i had to do it all over again. i would have just done toyotas t-ten program instead since i just found out i had one within an hour of my home. i had to move for UTI

Haha I noticed the shop in the background of one of your pics, I attended the one in Rancho cucamonga, california. Took Ford fact also and graduated in may of 2010. Which one did you go too?

haha. the shop you see is the currently toyota dealership i work for in my hometown. i too went to the rancho one. i graduated in 2005. been working for toyota since. did take a year off in 09 i think lol

That's awesome, yeah I wish I hadn't taken FACT. There's no jobs in cali., and now I owe $25,000 lol. Yay me.
