New ROKMEN Upper Control Arms for 03+ 4Runner from TotalAutomotiveLV

Sorry guys, I completely forgot to post. I actually tossed the directions in the trash after I finished my install. I thought I kept them, but apparently not. The install was pretty straight forward. They provide a metal pipe used to properly space and set the arms. Then you lube up the joints, put the weather boots on, and install using the existing UCA bolt.

My only gripe is I'm experiencing some loud squeaking somewhere and I'm not sure if it's the UCA's or not. I'll post my alignment results tomorrow if I remember. I've been really busy since I finished my lift install, and haven't had any time to tinker with it so bear with me! I should get into the garage tomorrow and get time to troubleshoot some things.
Thanks. Please keep us updated.

Deciding on UCA's has been the hardest decision yet.

I thought I had decided on camburg with ball joints. I would much rather have ball joints, personally. But so many people aren't able to get the caster in spec with those and that is an issue for me.

Do these have a minimum of +3° caster built in? I believe it said adjustable +3°- 5°...

EDIT: I don't know why my pictures uploaded upside down. I'll take photos of the UCAs installed when I take it back to the shop either today or tomorrow.

Hahaha! I found my Rokmen directions. They were with my alignment results. I'm not an alignment expert, but from what I read online about what the range is on the factory specs, I believe the shop I took it to got it within the factory specs. Here are some photos:

Anybody care to verify if my alignment results are correct?

So, in order to get any additional adjustment for caster, you need to completely remove the control arm bolt and reinstall spacers. Not a design I'm personally a fan of. These are NOT adjustable while installed on the vehicle like the aluminum Icons or Light Racing. But it's nice to have another product to choose from.
marshal - That was my suspicion but I wanted to see the instructions to be clear.

Which spacer config did you go with? Should get mine installed in the next two weeks (been sitting in my garage for over a month now :-()

They're still on the standard position. I'm taking it back to the shop to see if they can adjust it some more. My 4runner feels unstable.

I would start in the +1 position for sure on a typical rig.

Do they tell you where to set the heim joints to start with. I'm curious how much those can be adjusted to gain negative camber bias without causing interference.

Typically, when You try to add caster via the LCA cam bolt adjustments, the camber starts going positive. By shortening the heims, you should be able to offset that a bit and get the wheels more forward and maintain good camber. (this will also add caster). I'm just not sure how much adjustment is in there.. Plus you might run into interference issues clearing the coil over at full droop if you pulled them in too much. It is a surprisingly complicated equation...

Or could you set the UCA'S to max added caster then you wouldn't have to mess with the LCA cam adjustment bolt as much?

Rokmen make the best stuff- their fab and welding is the best...tolerances are excellent. They are local to me, and have helped me out a lot when a hack mechanic (Bach Crawlers) messed up my Jeep with terrible welding and incorrect install.

That long bolt for the UCA is a pain. Is there an easier way to move the spacer aside from putting it on a lift and taking it all apart again?

Thanks for sharing! We've been selling a good amount of their stuff now with no complaints and lots of praises!
