New roof rack and light bar.

Recently finished my rack. The idea was to keep it as light and low as possible. I wanted to it look as if it would be an option that trd would offer. I like the way it came out only thing I would change, if I did it again is lower the light bar a bit, but I can live with it. The whole rack is made from 6061 aluminum.







I mounted using original roof rack mounts and added one more mounting point in the front for the light bar.









All done.









The I slotted the bars in the center to allow me to insert eyelets so i can strap thing down in any location. For what i plan on putting up there, coolers, tubs with sleeping bags, camping gear, etc. it will be plenty strong enough. I will post pics of those in a little.

Theres definitely a bit of a whistle but its not awful, it's actually barely noticeable above about 50mph.

Looks great man. Trying to find a roof rack to meet my needs and not be too bulky has been an issue. I also have a 05 4runner sport. Would you happen to have the dimensions to this rack laying around? or would you want to build another and sell it to me? haha.

Very clean work , like the small rounded bars , very efficient looking . Have you loaded much up there yet ? If so lbs ? Did you also do your bumper ?
