New runner, some equipment not working.

Hey all -

New to me '03 SR5 runner. Just found out during the heavy rainstorm last night that my rear wiper, washer spray, and defroster don't work. Looked at the fuse for the washing system and it's fine. The rear defroster switch doesn't even appear to activate - the little light doesn't come on at all.

Do I need an electrical specialist for this? Is there anything I can do myself to get started with the investigation? I'm assuming electrical problem and I am terrible with electrical stuff.

Sounds like it probably needs to be recalibrated. Does it roll all the way down automatically when you press the button?

Roll the window all the way down, then back up and hold the up switch for a second or two after it's all the way up. Should work after that.

Yea try that it usually happens when the battery is disconnected

Yeah, recalibrate your rear window and you should be fine
