255/80 KM2s? Any rubbing issues? What's the offset on your rims? I have the same tires waiting to go on mine but I'm waiting for the Nov/Dec deals before I purchase my lift.

A little rubbing on right mudflap, and a little on the left front liner. Used heat gun on mudflap, and trimmed a small area of the liner on the left side.
I drove around for a couple days so I could see where the rubbing was before I used the heat and snips.
I don't remember the Offset offhand, however FNWheels website has all that info.

-10mm/4.1" Backspacing.

How about in reverse with steering at full lock? That's where I got most of my rub when I installed 285 70's, it would be interesting to hear what you're getting with the significantly smaller section width and roughly same diameter.

Agreed. More importantly, what about when they're stuffed? I'm more curious about what needs to be moved/removed once the suspension is compressed.

REVERSE FULL LOCK RIGHT= Right side mudflap
FORWARD FULL LOCK RIGHT= Left side front wheel well liner.

REVERSE FULL LOCK LEFT= Clear
FORWARD FULL LOCK LEFT= Clear

The above was done with normal throttle (as if pulling out of a Costco on a sat afternoon).

I havent done a OMG IM LATE! maneuver. I will test that tonight on a closed course with a proffessional driver.

I will try to post alignment specs tonight. If I remember caster was +4.1 on RF; +4.0 LF

As for off road, and full tuck, we will have to wait and see this sat.

Are you sure the rub in reverse isn't on the Body Mount as well? I was hitting that hard at first, and it looks like you have roughly the same amount of lift and alignment specs.
I can tell you that the day I had my lift done and 285's installed, I was actually ok in forward gears and full lock. Initially I only had the Caster set to ~+4, mud flaps removed and the front of the fender liners moved forward.
I really noticed the rub in reverse at full lock in both directions and decided that I would just go ahead with the body mount chop prior to going off road since I knew I would be experiencing unacceptable contact as soon as suspension articulation was added to the mix. Mind you, I did have 1.25" spacers installed as well, but doing all that work early on meant that once I removed the spacers and switched to the countersteer x's(even with their smaller backspacing) I now experience no contact whatsoever under any circumstance. This is nice!

It sounds like you are only experiencing a fraction of what I did, due to the much narrower section width of the 255, but I wouldn't be too terribly surprised if you had to shave the body mount as well to get rid of the contact entirely. Of course we all have different tolerances for this stuff, so you might be able to live with it as is. Like Hearno said, keep us posted. Thanks!

Nice!! I'm getting the same rubber next Spring! Can't wait. Keeping the stock sized winters on for the snowy months.

How much highway driving do you do? From what I've read, they are a decent mud tire for on-road as well. Enjoy!

So I ended up removing both of the front mudflaps after I did some WOT turns lock to lock. (tested on a closed course with Professional Driver.) It did rub A LOT more during this test. Removed Mudflaps and problem solved.

Tonight I am going clean the front of the frames and coat with a generous amount of white out. Then do some more testing. This should show exactly where and how much rubbing I may or may not have.

I didnt get a chance to acheive full tuck at all this weekend. I had little time Sat, but travel time to a decent spot from where I am takes a bit.

I had the KM2 tire on a Jeep wrangler. They were very quiet until they wore down some. They then started to make a noise like a bearing was going out in the transmission but it was just the tires. I did like the tires especially the first 10k miles before the noise started.
