I finally had the stock headunit n speakers changed. Had it done at Bestbuy bought it thru Crutchfield
Alpine CDA-105 head unit, Alpine SPS-600C Components up front, Kenwood KFC-1660S in rear door, Eclipse EA4200 amp. I wanted to have better sound, louder, use my IPOD controls thru the radio while charing.
Very happy, clarity is amazing, can hear every instrument, highs are great, Bass improvement was low, easy to use radio- not too complicated, IPOD use is awesome! All in all very happy. Asked the installer at best buy if upgrading the speakers will get me more bass but he said no the fit is too small for better bass speakers. I guess for future I'll need a rear box or something- hate to sacrifice the space scuba gear n camping gear is big.
Crutchfield was great with prices n tons of free gear for installation. Could do install myself as I am still healing from an incident in Puerto Rico fighting with a large wave.
Bestbuy guys were good, busy-waited almost 2 weeks for an appt, they did a great job. Only wished I coulda done it myself 300 bucks ouch theres was my CAI!
