What's up friends. I'm pretty excited to be back in a Toyota 4x4. I owned a 92 SR5 pick up a few years ago, but sold it because of the new grand baby. Well, I'm back, this time with a T4R. I was hoping for some immediate help.
Here's my situation. I picked up this 95" (see pics) for 3,500. It's got 189,xxx on the tac, but the engine was just rebuilt 900 miles ago. I have all the paper work for everything that was done to it. And when I popped the hood, I was pretty stocked to see how clean the engine was. I bought it from the original owner, who's an older Asian man. The interior is amazing, and there is probably one very small dent on the outside. Not a big deal at all. The only thing I found that I should replace, is one of the front tires. But instead of replacing it, I went out and found a set of Pro Comp Rock Crawlers on CL for a decent price. All I need is tires. This is were you all come in. I was looking around, and saw a 4runner with a set of 33's with a 4" lift. I just had an emergency come up, and can't afford to lift it right now. So I would REALLY appreciate it, if some one could tell me how big I can go on tires, without having to lift it. I don't want them to rub my fenders when turning, so I was thinking 33's or 35's? And what tires would you recommend? I'm sure there's lots of posts with tire talk, just thought I'd ask, and hope to get some immediate answers. Oh yeah, this will be my daily driver, won't be doing too much rock climbing, but will be in the snow, once winters comes around.

If your going to be in the snow a bunch, look at the Duratracs. There a cool looking tire and have excellent reviews for snow. I run them on my 4th gen and have 0 complaints
