stock tires on my 04 are 265/65/17 i i bought bf goodrich at ko 275/75/17 am i going to have tire rub or any other problems

For the 275/70/17 you would probably need a lift. However the 265/70/17s are being used by guys w/o lifts and seem to fit pretty well.
I'm sure someone else will chime in, I just got 275/70/17s but I am installing a 3" toytec ultimate lift before installing the 275s....also you should know they are E rated tires, and will be a rougher ride. 265/70s come in the more cush C I think....

I think you will have some serious rubbing too.
I have 265/70R17 ATs with ~1-1/2" lift on mine. I had to trim a little of the rear portion of the front fender flares (on the inside so it's not noticeable) to stop the rubbing on inclines. I really wanted the 275s too but didn't think it was doable without putting on more lift.
I do have wheel spacers and that makes a difference but the 275s are ~1/2" taller and wider than 265/70s and ~1-1/2" taller than stock 265/65s.

I know I was brought up to add something if appropriate and if not then ... just keep my trap shut. You are going to rub a ton with these tires without a lift, there is no doubt. I have 255/80/17, which are roughly the same height (33.5) but narrower and I have had to do a lot of trimming to get those not to rub and I have 3.75" of suspension lift, plus 1.5" of body lift. In addition to the plastic bumper parts, you may need to trim your metal body mounts as well.
If you are not putting a lift on and plan on doing a lot of lift even with that lift, I would look for other tires.

Not trying to be rude I see it on every forum I am a member of mtbr and the Harley forum people go there for one thing ask one question and then bail on the forum. If you plan on sticking around then great no harm no foul. And yes like has been mentioned you are going to rub alot go with a 265/70/17 you will get some rubbing when the wheel if fully cranked not to bad though. And if you aren't going 4wheeling just get P rated tires it will ride just as nice as stock.
I wonder if your 265/70R17s rub because they are the BFG AT with their square shoulders. I'm hoping the Hankooks or Toyos do not rub (stock T4R) in that size.

It rubs mainly because he is running wheel spacers that size tire is going to rub alittle no matter what unless you lift/level it. I am running the stock 265/70/17 but in a terra grappler on my trail with the front lifted 2in and they rub because I put new wheels with a zero offset and a 4.5 backspacing

I've read that BFG ATs are the only 265/70s that can't be ran stock (because of the squared shoulders); if you add spacers like I did (or aftermarket wheels), all 265/70s will scrub.
I'm sticking with stock wheels and no spacers...hoping the 265/70/17s in non BFGs work, even in the spare area.

I have ran 265/70/17 bfg's stock they rubbed alittle but not much more then the nitto's when I went with 255/75/17 bfg mud ta's they rubbed alot then it got leveled I changed tires several times on my old 04. You should be fine with pretty much any 265/70/17's the new tires will work in the spare location as well I managed to stuff a 255/75/17 mud terrain up there.

Flyer, I just put a new set of Firestone Destination A/T's (265/70R17) on my 2006 V8 Sport last week and there has been NO rubbing whatsoever to date.Forwards,reverse,sharp lefts or rights."NOTTA"!!!! My stock tires were Dunlop Grantrek AT20 (P265/65R17).New tires fill the wheel well nicely and ride great and hardly any noise. Might wanta give em a try.
