They also suck because, unlike normal tires, you can't adjust tire pressure for different driving conditions.

I thought these were going to be marketed as Spares? At least if its your spare, its weighs alot less and you should be able to store stuff in between the cracks and strap em in with masking tape:biggrin2:

Arent these tires showing the "run-flat" technology? It looks like the regular tire would be enclosed but incase you had a puncture , you could still drive it to a station or home untill you got it fixed

These tires are actually showing the technology to run without air entirely. Run-flat allows you to run without air for up to 50 miles (due to sidewall and rubber compound changes) - enough to get to a garage or get home.

I like the idea of having this as a spare, no need to have the stupid low-pressure sensor sending an alarm because the pressure is below 28 lbs...

Do everything you can to avoid "run flat" tires, they are nothing but an expensive PITA.
