New to 4Runner not to Toyota

Hey all,
My name is Courtney I live in Lakewood Colorado. Just bought a 1997 4Runner Limited on Sunday. It has so much potential!! I have a street car that I autocross which is my Celica and I cant drive that in the rain and snow due to FWD and also engine mods. So here I am with my Runner and on this forum!! Pretty excited to lift it get new tires stuff like that...may supercharge it...we will see. Well if anyone in Colorado wants to 4x4 and camp in the summer let me know!! Im down!!!

Welcome from your neighbor to the south. I used to autocross and drag race my '93 Eclipse but needed a cheaper hobby so 4wheelin' became my thing but I miss having alot of ponies and a vehicle that had crazy cornering power.
 
Oh yes it gets expensive...tires...ughh...but yes its nice to rail around corners ...i always have a problem waiting for the next race..so hopefully 4 wheelin can take up my time...ill have to keep an eye open for your runner im over in Littleton all the time!!

ha ha ha noo thats about a 20 minute drive east of Littleton...i go there sometimes when im motivated to shop...rather spend money on mods. for my toys not clothes tho....ha ha ha ha

I dont know if you would be selling stage 2 racing cams and an ECU to go with 7 years ago ha ha ha never the less i have a GT not GTS some differences...i love my little Celica its fun to race around in but its sorta a weekend car now....too much money into it to destory it doing my daily driving..

Courtney there are a lot of people from CO that wheel together pretty regular. I am sure you can find some to go have some fun with. Welcome to the Forum and to your 4 Runner. Post up in the 3rd gen section and remember the search button is your friend.

I don't think they had those 7 yrs ago. I'm from old skewl mods. My former 2001 GT-S had the following mods: TRD Bodykit w/ adjustable rear wings, PHR intake, Injen breathers, HKS cat-back and exhaust, AEM Cams, DC Sport headers, Oversized piston rings, Neuspeed strut bar, Hotchkis rear stabilizers, Tein coilovers, TRD short shifter, S-VAFC controllers, 50-shot wet nitrous system, and 17" Montegi Rims w/ Parada tires.
