New to lifting

I haven't had my 4runner too long and I've noticed a very slight sag in the rear and I planned on buying new shocks soon, but I decided to just lift it 2 inches at the same time. I'm buying new KMC wheels and rock sliders for it soon. It's 2wd if that makes a difference. I just want to know what is the best type of coils and shocks to get for a small lift. It has 31" mud tires.

OME 881 for front and OME 906 for the back. With those coils, you can use stock shocks, or aftermarket replacements, ie Bilstein HDs.

How do you like those Federal tires? My dad had a set of them, not the MTs, on an old truck and had a pretty good experience with them. Are they relatively quiet.

Depending on the year, there's a factory recall for the springs that might not have been done to your truck.

I'll give you the same advice that someone else gave me: In the 3rd gen forum, click on the sticky for "about rear end sag" and/or call your local stealership to see if your truck has had the recall.

Thanks man. And I love these tires. They get really good grip on anything. They have a little hum to them but nothing like a super swamped or something like that. And I seen the sticky on rear sag but i haven't worried about it since I wanna lift it.

You could also get a set of '99 tall springs.
