New to me 2008 4 runner

Hey I been a long time fan of the toyota 4 runner. I recently purchased a clean 2008 4 runner with 65k miles no rust being its a florida car. Its a sr5 with leather,sunroof,jbl synthesis. Very clean inside and out . So far ive had to put new tires on it, Replaced a brake caliper that was seized. Brakes and rotors for front since the seized caliper destroyed pads and warped rotor. Added a trailer hitch. I ordered bilstein 5100 shocks all around. So far I like the car alot . I came from a 2018 Civic and i dont miss it all. The quality of this 2008 is much better than the civic it has usable space and its so much quieter.

Congrats! Are those aftermarket headlights? They look very different then anything I have seen on any 4Runner.

Yes I got the lights on ebay. For 2006-2009 Toyota 4Runner Black LED Tube Upgrade Style Projector Headlights | eBay
I cant wait to lift it. Unfortunately I put new tires recently and it kills me to go buy new rims and tires knowing i spent 600 on tires.

I just bought an 08 too! Wow, 65k!!! Damn! Mine has 180k but was clearly babied. It appears in excellent condition all around, and the mechanic I had inspect said it was just as perfect under the hood/body. Looking to replace my suspension also, although it seems in good shape. Thinking maybe ome 2.5 medium travel.

It looks really good what wheels and tires you have. Seems leveled out.

Sorry for late response, need to set up email notifications for this forum! It came with method 301 18” and new Ridge Grappler 285/65/18 E load, that’s what’s in my photo. I didn’t want the e load and wanted more sidewall so I just put the smallest possible wheel for my calipers on, a different method model, 311, in 17” and went with KO2 285/7017 C for tires. There is a spacer kit installed on it giving some lift, but I want a more proper suspension as the ride is pretty rough!
