New to NorCal, new to offroading

Hey all,
Im just about to move to Northern California, to Davis to be exact. I have lived there for my freshman year at UCD and am just now moving into an apartment and bringing my truck :rockon:
I would love to start running some light trails after im settled in and am wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions around the Davis/ Sacramento area.
Heres the down side, i have a stock 4x2, 4 cylinder (i know, but its all i could afford on a high schoolers budget during my sophomore year after saving up )
Thanks, and i hope to be able to meet some of you and start really using my truck.

You'll have to go more of up around the Eldorado and East or Auburn/Grass valley area to enjoy the views/trails.

The Wells book will show some of them, there pretty good trails for your ride.

That's the spiral bound one. Don't know why it's so expensive Here is the paperback. Sure spiral is better but. Yeesh!

I'm a new 4runner owner and offroader as well, just picked up a 2015 SR5 Premium the other day and am excited to take it around the Auburn area a bit and put it through the test this winter in Tahoe.
