After lurking the past month or so, I am happy to finally join this forum. I've read and am amazed at the work some of you have put onto your rigs.
My past project when I was younger (23) was a 1999 Honda Civic Si (EM1)

Now 10 years older, Ive felt it was time for another project with a more adult feel. I introduce to you to SLAVE I, after Boba Fett's ship cause of its rough shape. It's a 1998 Limted 4x4 V6. I got it for $2680. It runs great and feel its a great canvas to start. It needs some work and have started ordering replacement parts. It needs minor tlc inside, a couple things replaced, radio, center console cover, both front seats etc. The outside doesn't concern me much at the moment, faded paint, it has a dented hood, rear bumper, damage that previous owner tried fixing, broken antenna, etc.. My main focus is the have it running perfect, mechanically and electrically. Im going to start replacing parts that needs replacing but if I can upgrade a part, ill go that route.

I wonder how difficult it would be to have this fixed

thinking of going with something like this:

Current List:
Get full maintenance done and looked over, replace any bushings and joints if needed.
Future plans:
- Toytec lift
- wheels and tires
- 231mm Tundra brake upgrade
- 1999-2002 front bumper and fog light upgrade (unless I find front/rear heavy duty bumpers at a decent price)
- Scoop Hood
- Paint
Thank you for having me here, I hope to learn from some of you. Criticism or any helpful advice is welcome.
If any member are in the Palmdale Area or anywhere in Pasadena, Valencia, pretty much anywhere in Southern California that's willing to hangout, work on the 4R together, give me a holler.
just out of curiosity, does the 2002 instrument cluster fit a 1998. I really like that cluster.
