New to the 4runner world!

December of last year in sold my super sweet Tacoma. Built it just the way I wanted. 2002 black ext cab, V6 5-speed 4x4. LineXed bed, camper shell, 3"lift, 33's, supercharged.... Etc. Selling it was the worst decision of my vehicle-buying life. I picked up an 04' crew cab 2500 cummins.... While it was bad to the bone, I was fooling myself thinking I had any practical use for something that big. Two weeks ago I traded my cummins for a 2002 4runner sport. 4x4 auto. (plus a nice stack of cash). While the rig has 192k on it, it runs and drives like a top. No whistles or ticks. Plus it came with a nice ShockWorks front bumper. Pictures to come tomorrow. Glad to be a member!

Paid what I thought was a fair price! My dodge had a "severe water damage" (5 on the carfax 1-4 scale) tag on it, so it was a nightmare to sell. Found the right dealer that worked with me. The 190,00 worried me, but I know how long and well these run so I wasn't too terrified.... And with more than enough cash in my pocket to put a new motor in her if anything WERE to happen I was ok with it!....
I just got back in school for some more licenses and another degree so I'm not sure how much heavy modifying will be done the first year or so..... W will see!!!

Very soon! I can't stand em! The passenger side is missing the aft end cap anyhow. Trying to find someone local selling a set of sliders they're tired of. I'll be putting a scan gauge on soon as well. Having over 190k on her id really like monitor as many of the going-ons as I can...

i sold mine for like $50 if i remember correctly, but that was like a year ago. generally you can get around $40-100 for them, id say more for yours as they are nicer than just the SR5/base ones.
