Hello from California! I'm proud to say that I am now a happy owner of a 1994 v6 4runner! Took me a while to find a good one(really only about a week of searching but I swear it felt like forever). After getting blown off 3 times by a guy with an 89 4runner and being severely disappointed with a couple other trucks(86 4runner that looked like the interior had been buried in dirt for 26 years and an 89 cherokee that was beat to death) a man hit me up from vallejo with the 94.
I was pretty much sold on the 94 even before making the hour and a half drive to look at it. 154k miles, new clutch, timing belt, brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, power steering pump and a smog certificate. Smog being one of the major things I was worried about. There are a few things cosmetically wrong but it's mechanically solid and with a budget of $2500 I was worried about being able to find one that didn't need mechanical work done to it. After coming to an agreed price of $2400 I finally became a 4runner owner
It's already made the trip down a local trail(was a little worried about making it but I was really surprised at how capable these things are with just 31's on it are). Had to double check to make sure the 4wd worked
Of course the girlfriend just about blew a gasket when she found out ha. Anyways! I look forward to talking with you all and learning as much as I can about 4runners in the process(my first 4wd vehicle, mostly owned smaller sporty cars). Now on to the one picture I have right now.
