new to the forum got some problems think you guys can help!

I recently ran my sr5 into a large mud hole and was stuck for about 6hrs before I could get someone to pull it out. Got it out of the woods and to my shop . Lots of water had gotten into my trannie fluid and oil . I changed my oil and trannie fluids and there filters and it fired right up. I then drove it home (about 15/20min away) it worked the very best. This morning it started fine but when I put it in drive it would rev up to like 5000 rpm s and only go about 5 k an hour.may have over filled the tranny by a quart at the most. Think I just gotta change fluids a few more times or is my trannie toast!. If you guys could point me in the right direction that would be great.

You probably have some grit in the valve body. You should definitely replace the fluid a couple times. You might even want to get it flushed.
