thanks man, what tire stuff do you use? I have mguires. (it smells like grape) haha! im always nervious pressure washing my engine, but sometimes i have to do it anyway when ive been playin in the mud. I just got a steamer and im thinking trying that out. anyway thanks again by the way

Usually I use Black Magic tire shine and then I wipe off the excess. When I pressure clean my engine, I always leave it running and then I make sure not to soak the distributor or coil packs. If you have a cut spark plug wire make sure to fix it before you use something flammable on the engine. I have made that mistake once before.

I use Mguires tire shine too. It seems to work the best. I've also tried the Armor All tire shine and it wasen't worth it.

This was taken from another Forum I am a member off. I think he goes a little overboard with taping off the electronics.... I used to details cars and always just soaked the engines.... This is the safe way. Also make sure the painted surfaces are wet before you spray degreaser on them because it could stain the paint. Try not to get it on the outside of the engine bay.

Ryan can you get a manny tranny err let me rephrase that-a 5 or 6 speed in a Tundra ?

thanks for that info, ya dont spray full power into your fan. haha it will stop it in its tracks. i was spraying my engine after some major muddin (non intentionl) and did that and ya it made the belt slip or something. haha. by the way on the note of cleaning can you use the k&N cleaner kit for any brand of filter?
