Hello -
After a long history with BMW cars I recently decided I needed a truck of some sort for various dog/home improvement/camping trips. Been renting vehicles for Home Depot runs and camping trips.
Originally I was going to add a used truck to my existing 3 series but after extensive research, rather than have two high mileage vehicles, decided it'd be better for my situation to just go with something brand new.
Shopped around for a bit and picked up a 2014 SR5 with 4x4 and navi w/3rd row in magnetic grey. Really wish I could have stepped up to a trail premium for the sun roof mostly but ultimately we felt this was the best choice. It's my first truck/suv. And my first Toyota.
Already ordered a canvasback for the dog and scheduled two camping trips for August. Might plastidip some chrome but I'm going to drive it for a while before I do anything else.
Hope this community will be as good to me as some of the bmw forums I benefitted from.
