Yea there's not many people from Tulsa on here, or I haven't found any at least. How new are you? Know of any trails yet? There really isnt many, but if you'd like I can show you the ones I know of :cheers:
Yeah I've seen a ton of nice 4 runners around here lately. I moved up here in October from Louisiana so I'm pretty new up here lol. Yeah I'd like to see what they have around here trail wise. I'm want to try and get a group of guys together to do the K trail down south. We just had a member of the club run some of it and from the pictures it looks amazing.

I would love to join a group of y'all to run K-Trail, in the Tulsa area you have Sand Springs river access which is a ~30 min ride, not the best but it makes a fun afternoon. There is also camp gruber SE of you, never been but plan on it.

I'm sure you have seen this but its good info, just be sure to pay attention to the vehicles they allow in. If I head up to Tulsa any time I can hit you up for a wheeling trip.

Well I'm about 3/4 way thru an engine swap in my '92, when I get finished here soon we can head out to some good ones I know of, I just hope you're not afraid of getting some scratches from trees! There's parts where you don't have to be around them but if you want to get into actual trails you're bound to get a few. However right by Keystone Lake under the dam there's a good little playground (which might be what Be_Original is talking about) but there's a lot of sand, don't know how you feel about that. I don't know of any groups really around here or even very many people with 4runners, but if you do they could tag along, they may even know of this spot im talking about

When I get my 4runner goin I'll let you know, I've never tried the dam area, but again I'd love to show you the trails I'm talking about. There's a ton, probably 3 hours or more worth, I haven't even been through all of them yet. Nothing like Disney but still a pretty fun spot that's closer to home than Disney is

I have a thread on the classics page, but my old 3.slow 3VZE took a sh*t on me and i checked all the valve tolerances and they were all in spec (making an annoying ticking noise), so I'm pretty positive it needed a valve job so I just went ahead and bought a reman 3vze but this new one is bored .30 over and has bigger cams so it's putting out 40 more horse and torque. It was getting close to 200k anyways and I just got this in May, so I'm just slowly redoing everything. Suspension is next with a 2" suspension lift. Just a slow daily driver project!
hello guys im from tulsa too and i have been in both places under the damp and the other one be_originals mentioned. locations are close but not the same under the damp i have been there with the atvs mostly mudders truck goes the or people with money that like to break their rides. the other side its where usually people go to test guns and enjoy the trails around its not big but a good place to test the rides and new components added

When you drive in, head down the hill, as soon as you hit the bottom of the hill you'll see a small "shooting range" (tons of shells). From there you either go left or right. I have only been there once. The terrainj mostly consists of sugar sand, steep hills, rocks and other obstacles. Have fun.

Good deal, any restrictions for what kind of guns that can be used that the range?
Nice I'm right under 100k on mine right now. I know she can use some TLC. One day i soon I'll get around to changing out all the fluids in the diffs and transfer case.

The range is no more than ~70 yds, I don't know of any restrictions on guns but if you're asking yourself if you should take it then...don't. People usually take handguns, shotguns, rifles, muzzle loaders. Little tannerite wont hurt either.
Haha I just want to shoot my 9mm that I haven't shot in 8 months or so

Nothing wrong with that. By thew way M_Odreman is in the Tulsa area, buddy of mine. He may be able to show you exactly where the entrance is.
I found it on google maps, so depending on the weather tomorrow I might go check it out.
