Thanks for all the good posts and info. We were shopping for a sm-mid SUV with V-8 power for 5000+ lb towing. We are coming out of a Ford Explorer and were looking at another one. Happenned to look at the Toy and feel in love. So, we should be picking up our new SR5 Sport V-8 next week. Looking forward to some of the mods I've seen here. Thanks for your guidance!

We got the Galactic Grey Mica - (very deep shade of grey met. ) Biut you probably all know what they all look like - right!

It has Rr. Spolier, Exhaust Tip, Cargo Shelf, Sunroof, 6 Disc (Not JBL), Auto Mirror/Compass.

Hopefully enough power to pull this...about 5000 lbs. all in.

Well, I should have had my new 4R by now. :(
Dealer has been jerking me around. "Don't worry we've got it located sohuld be here in 2 days - don't worry".

3 days and no follow up - "well we found out that one had a big scatch, so no deal" "But we found one in port we can have up here in a week or two. " So I told them forget it - I'm going somewhere else. Then they locate another local one. Same equip but this one has the skid plate too and they'll throw that in now for the trouble. So my salesperson was suppossed to personally pick it up today. After several unanswered calls I find out he's not even in today!:bash:

Finally got the sales manager who promises it will be delivered tomorrow. Buying a new car shouldn't be this stressful!!!!!!!

Hopefully tomorrow new car in hand. Then pics...........

Well, they pulled my salesperson and gave the deal to someone with a brain. Everything went smoothly today and we finally have our new 4R in the driveway. Going away this weekend, will send pics.

OK - got started today with Valor Exhaust Tip and Toyota Bug Shield.

Both very easy and fit well (OE Parts). Poor instructions with bug shield but it only took about 45 minutes.

I also got my HID kit today and hoipe to get that in over the weekend.

Many pics to follow once I get going.

Thanks for all the ideas and info on the site!

PS - has anyone used the color keyed door edge guards that are available and are they decent (looking and secure on door)

Thx

New Pics!

Took our first trip this weekend with the new 4R and took a few pics. Here's one for the thread.............(I know everyone likes pics)

Galactic Gray was my second choice after my Salsa Red Sport. Definitely a nice rig - head and shoulders above the Explorer too in comfort, performance, looks, and quality.

One of my favorite things is to open up the sunroof, put the rear window down, and drive. I rarely use the AC - even on the highways.

Sweet! I know the SE is much more than the roof rack and tubular steps but those are the two, wish I had, fav features:cool: Looks good.
