New USA Spec model PA11-TOY

Does anyone here know whether the USA Spec PA11 works with the in-dash JBL 6-disc changer system with (10 speakers, no nav)? I have the rear seat entertainment system, but I have no plans to use it, so I don't really care about using it to listen to/control the iPod. (In case it matters: the head unit has the numbers "56836" printed on it.)

I'm asking because I just bought a 2005 4Runner on Saturday; I'd like to take advantage of the iPod interface and the aux input offered by the USA Spec, but I'm concerned that the stock JBL head unit won't have the necessary CD changer connections on the back, since the changer is already built in to the HU itself. I know others here have mentioned having the JBL 10-speaker, 6-disc changer but I'm not sure whether they're talking about the in-dash changer or an external one.

Incidentally, the Crutchfield site is telling me that the PA10 (a simliar, earlier model?) will work work with my vehicle (as they put it: "with JBL audio system; without Navigation system; with in-dash CD changer"), but it also says: "Factory stereo must not have Rear Seat Entertainment system" -- I'm not sure whether that means "if you connect the PA10, you won't be able to use the rear seat system" or "the PA10 won't work at all if you have the rear seat system."

Before I order anything and rip the HU out of the dash, I wanted to see if anyone here has any thoughts on whether this will work....

I just have the regular base stereo, so I dont know. Though I know there are a few other ipod adapters out there like the dension ice among others... You can just search for ipod adapter on these forums and should get some nice results.

I have the PA10 unit with the JBL 6 disc in dash changer and it does work, but I have a 2004. I don't imagine that they would drastically change the unit so as to make it not work, but don't hold me to it.

The auxilary input does not work with the RSA unit so that you cannot listen to the IPOD through the RSA Headphones.
