It might be hard to see but I bought some door trim that I put around where I cut on the bumper. It’s a must. Covers up your cuts and protects it from rubbing

I would like to hear from the other guy that said he had already received his and see if his box had brackets and hardware with it.

I am traveling this weekend hence why I couldn't install it, right now like you :shrug:

But I will check when I get home if I have the brackets in the box.

Install looks great, looks like your hawse fairlead is a bit crooked on the front there, is that just camera angles or do you have to work to keep it straight during the install?

I was just wondering that too, I didn't check if it came with the trim piece either for the cut line. Good to know that I need to pick that up.

The fair lead is straight up crooked. Haven’t got around to adjusting it yet. I was in a little bit of a hurry towards the end

Ok. Just got it installed. As the previous post states I never received frame extension brackets or the brackets on the bottom. It turns out I didn’t need them or at least I don’t think I did. I will be calling warn Monday to make sure. I know when I purchased mine I had to provide the year (2017) so maybe this year doesn’t need the brackets? Or they forgot to include them. Either way it bolted up just fine and I can always add the extension brackets easily if I need them later. I would like to hear from the other guy that said he had already received his and see if his box had brackets and hardware with it. In my opinion it looks awesome. This modification is definitely worth it! Here are some pictures as promised.

Right on that does look good. You did that fast too.

Would you recommend cutting less than the trace of the valence so that the bumper overlaps the plastic rather than leaving a gap?

Did yours come with any parts other than the bumper? Support strap brackets, remote extension?

And can you measure the width of the top plate of the bumper? Was trying to see if its wide enough to mount a light bar there.

I would recommend following the valance on the sides and bottom curve. You have room to cut the top curves left and right a little early. If you zoom in you will see a gap where the top curves. I would recommend cutting a hair high of the valance on the top. Mine lays forward a little because it’s a hair too long. Probably wouldn’t be long if I didn’t add the rubber strip. The only thing I had in my box was a bumper. Looks like 30” in between the bar but you would probably only have about 20” of working space after you attached brackets and the light

Thanks what about the width the other direction towards the grill. I think those support brackets are pretty important. The SSO and C4 bunper both have them to keep the now cut bumper from flapping without support in the center

Your probably right about the possibility of it flapping. I think since mine seems a little long on top with the rubber trim and in lays forward a bit it won’t flap around

Ordered mine on Monday, arrived on Thursday and installed on Friday. Only two issues: I need to trim my TRD skid plate and the plastic covers along the radiator should have came with a template for trimming. Bumper is solid, fits well, and fairly easy to install.

Shit, how much do you have to trim off the trd skid? Did yours come with the frame extension brackets and the bumper support brackets?

Can I asked for a bit more explaining on why the TRD Pro skid plate needs trimming? Maybe a photo.

Looks like he might be right. If you compare the location to my recovery shackles vs the recovery shackles of a t4r with factory ted skid plate I think it would overlap

Arb skid plate ends exactly at the cooler. The trd skid plate looks like it comes out past the cooler
