New wheel and tire question

I'm wanting to upgrade my 04's wheels and tires with some new wheels and tires and i wondered if i have to swap over the tpms or is there anyway to bypass it? If so what do i have to do. I honestly don't care about the tire pressure warning but i don't want to look at the light and i wouldn't want it to mess the rig up. What did you guys do to go around this? Best solution?

Just seems like a big pain in the A** to just swap over to new wheels and tires. I wondered what most members on this forum did when they got new wheels and tires. I want to keep these new wheels and tires on sell my old one's. Just wanted to know the best simplest alternative.

im guessing its not what you want to hear but if you cant do the bypass switch then either pull the sensors from the old wheels & install em in the new ones, or, depending on how far or long from home you drive each day, keep the old set nearby where you park at night, if it goes on during the day it will reset at night. or put a piece of tape over the light & live with it.

Honestly not that big of a deal , unbolt from old get the kit for each wheel little under 8$ called fitting kit 2 new gaskets & stem be careful not to over-tighten rolling ! Takes bout 5 min. a wheel these were just pcd put the old sensors in spare is old one

So if i don't switch over the sensors and leave the light on it won't hurt anything will it? Yes i know the light is for safety but it won't hurt the car computer what so ever will it? I'd rather it be gone but just wondering. Thanks

Well discount tire has the wheel and tire package and they ship them mounted and balanced. But they won't ship them with the sensors that's why this tpms is bunch of bs. I mean i can run them without the sensors right? I'd just have that annoying light.

I just ignore the blinking light, doesn't bother me anymore.

So the blinking light won't hurt our car anyway right? As far as how the engine runs? I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't mess up the main ECU somehow. If it don't then i won't worry about it.
