I have a 2004 runner with 2.85 lift in the front. For the last 5k miles have be running the stock wheels with 285/75 R17 BFG TA's. The ride was smooth. No vibration in the steering with the OEM wheels.
Because of the oversized tires, I was rubbing on the frame and UCA at full steering lock. I purchased new wheels with a -12mm offset. Now I feel a vibration in the steering wheel from 40 mph up.
I had the tires place rebalance the tires. They are balanced. Still having the same result.
Could that -12mm offset be causing the vibration since the wheel is now out further?
I'm also thinking it could be alignment?? the original alignment after the OME/5100's still had the 265/65R17's......

Thank you.
