new wheels installed , how do they look ?

was cruising CL and saw some TRD beadlock wheels for sale , brand new in the box . called the guy up and went and bought them . got them for a steal , i could have put them on ebay and made a few bucks but i figured i would throw them on . i wasn't looking for wheels but my stock wheels were starting show their age .
what do you guys think ?

They look terrible, I'll take them off your hands. I really like the style of those wheels, bright rim/dark center. They would look better on my wife's 4runner though, they're not right for you...hahaha.

Why do you guys just want his rims? I say the whole truck is built wrong so it should be donated to me to fix it.

I love the way it looks and those duratracs will last you a surprisingly long time if you rotate every 5k.

They would look great on my 4runner. Mine is the same color. I love those wheels. They are 16x8 right? Every set I see around home are expensive.

16x 7.5 , they are expensive usually, I got a steal off Craigslist, came with the lugs and locks . I'm into them for under $600 with trd lug n lock kit and mounting.
Seen them on eBay for $1000 and you still have to get lugs , stock lugs won't work .

— I'll be the odd-man out and say that I don't like the look of beadlock wheels. I see them on too many trucks that are just posers and it has ruined the look for me even when they are on a real truck.

I tend to agree, but not when it's clearly on a truck that looks like it actually takes advantage of a bead-lock! Let the posers pose, I say. It just makes the people who actually use the equipment for what it's for look that much better! :biggrin1:
