Okay just got done painting one of my new Sequoia 17's, here's my concept:

Primer and Paint

Use zinc primer for the wheels if you want to paint it. It will stick much better than other primers. I learn after I installed it on 4R. You can use Dupli-Color paint and Dupli-Color clear paint for protection.

yeah i used the zinc primer...2 or 3 coats...then i sprayed the red lips, like 3 or 4 coats....let it sit a couple days....then taped off the lips and sprayed 4 coats of semi gloss black, let it sit a few more days, then 3 coats of clear....i think i added an inch to these things just in coats of paint hahah
