But instead of straight leather I was thinking of doing the same bit as these seats with maybe charcoal leather with lighter grey suede inserts, or vice versa. Wheel Splittin
So I read the thread about the members wheel splitting on the X-SP model. Good thing I also got the Salesman to throw in the Original Factory Rims so I have a backup in case mine do the same thing. I was thinking about putting on some Bf Goodrich All Terrains, does anyone know the biggest size tire that will fit?

Wait, so when you get an XSP model what kind of spare do you get? Do you get a 5th 20" tire or what?

The 5th tire or the spare is still the original spare. I have not had to use it yet but I am assuming that it should still work regardless of the rim size. But what I was talking about was that I also have the 4 original factory rims, I think 17".

The 5th tire or the spare is still the original spare. I have not had to use it yet but I am assuming that it should still work regardless of the rim size. But what I was talking about was that I also have the 4 original factory rims, I think 17".

I have to agree. I don't understand purchasing a true off-road capable SUV and then stuffing 20" wheels and low profile tires under it. This is totally the opposite directon of the design of the vehicle. I too can see where it appeals to a market that is out there but it doesn't work for me.
Mega Ditto on the TRD version 4Runner. I would happily snap up a TRD version with a nice lift, lockers and wheel tire upgrade. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen models all had reasonable upgrade parts available through the aftermarket but the 4th gen is lacking in this sense. Toyota should address this through the TRD group and preferably with a factory optioned model with all the tricks...

The Southeast Toyota (SET) Region offers a number of port-installed options that would otherwise be dealer-installed aftermarket accessories. For example, several members have mentioned getting leather seats on a SE through SET.
It looks like SET does a nice job of installing the items, but they do confuse things a little bit by making it seem like the vehicle came from the factory that way. I would imagine that since the parts are installed by SET, they're still covered by the factory warranty, which is a plus if you were going to install some of those things yourself anyway.

I recently bought a 07 Black XS-P 4Runner and it runs fine and is a nice looking ride with those twenties. It has a V6 but I think the V8 would have given it the little extra power it deserves but I'm not complaining. I've been told the XS-P comes w/ more power then just the regular V6 on 4runners. Anyone know if that is true? I bought the 4Runner w/ about 9K miles so I didn't have to pay top dollar. It was delivered to me here in Florida and I

The eXtreme Sport Package is essentially a nicely done bling package on a SR5. From a marketing standpoint the SEToy dealers can essentially offer a "Sport Edition" that's comprised of high profit add-ons and then discount the crap out of it, overall it's a good value. Most people won't miss the XREAS or the bigger brakes and they appreciate the exhaust and appearence enhancements. SEToy can sell them for less than a genuine Sport Edition. It's a win-win. The people who bought them are thrilled (except for the rim problem) and the people who want a genuine Sport Edition still have that option.
