I'd also like to add that I'm looking forward to NOT doing an Ironman this year. I've lived in Colorado for a little over 2 years now, both spring/summers I've lived here have been spent training for Ironmans. To give you an idea monday was the one lazy/rest day a week. Tuesday was swim before work and bike after work, Wednesday was run and lower body weights, Thursday was swim before work and bike after work, Friday was run and upper body weights, Saturday was long bike rides (up to 100 miles) and a short brick run (change your shoes, drop your helmet and immediately take off running from the bike), Sunday was long run (up to 20 miles) and long swim (up to 3 miles). That was the routine every single week for about 6 months leading up to race day. I'm excited to not do that this year. I'm going spend more time than I ever have riding dirt (mountain bike), I'm not going to do any triathlons longer than a Olympic distance, I'm going to camp more, I'm going to spend more time exploring this ridiculously amazing state I relocated to.
I'm kinda relieved that the Boulder 70.3 Ironman just sold out recently, I've been fighting the urge to sign up (it's only a half Ironman, 70.3 miles instead of 140.6) and it's kinda bittersweet that now I can't do it for 2015.
