Ok well i'm new and I didn't really know how else to say it except post a new thread. I have a 97 4runner sr5...just bought it about a year ago. I want to take some pictures of it...but it won't stop raining and I just can't keep her clean. Anyway, just wanted to say whats up and everyone here is good in my book...I mean...if you own a 4runner, what could possibly be wrong with you? =)

Edit: ok I found an old one..

Seattle is something like 25 days straight...but over here in Spokane it is raining/drizzling on and off. Would be pointless to clean it because it would be just as dirty by the time I got home. Where is Hoodbridge? I've been to Vriginia a few times...loved it!

Well it was parked all summer because I was up in Alaska, so just lately have I been driving it. Of course I took it camping a few times in April...yes it was cold but I had just bought it and couldn't resist. =)

I want to buy new tires...have actually been looking around some. Part of me can't see replacing the other ones until they are dead...although they aren't very good. I guess I could just keep them as back ups. Any recommendations for tires then? I "offroad" often, so I would need tires geared more toward that.

trXus mt's. factory siped for good snow/ice condition handling, and great tread design and cleaning. relatively cheap as well

Nice buy and it's not 'old it's a 'classic' now.

I also can't believe your guy's rain out there since none, and I mean none has made it to Denver (as in snow) but it is hitting the mountains quite well but I want it down here too.

Oh no no I didn't mean it was old...just meant I had taken that picture back in April. Yah, it's actually 30 days straight in Seattle. It's nice and sunny today here though so i'll go wash it now. Do you ever go to Bronco games? I'd give my first born for tickets. :(

I don't like the look of the 4th generations...(hoping I don't get flogged now)

I was mostly working out on a boat...but I spent some time in Anchorange and Dutch Harbor.

I see one game a year otherwise we just stay home and watch all the games on Sunday Ticket and especially enjoy the ones in HD.
I did get to go to the SD game back in Sept. with a friend who had seats on the 47yd line 4 rows up from the Broncos bench;definetly the best seats I've ever had.
