Just bought my first 4Runner as a play vehicle. It is a 2005 V8 Limited. Looking forward to a mild lift and good tires in the next few weeks. I will be doing a lot of reading on the forums, but recommendations for Florida sand and mud are much appreciated. Won't be doing much rock crawling in these parts.

Welcome to the forum! Isn't much rock crawling in central florida for sure. Way too much mud and sugar sand. If you ever make it out to the Ocala National shoot me a message, we can get a group together!
Definitely. I drive up SR-19 every few weeks to visit family and have been wanting to get off the pavement. Not a good idea in a Sienna.
What kind of tires are you running? How are they in the sand and mud?

Cooper STT. They do okay in the sand, as good as any tire can is foot deep sugar sand. I've never taken them through mud though, but they have really good reviews. They have a new "pro," and people seem to really like them. It's a different tread pattern.
