Newbie from Colorado- 1st 4runner ever!

Hey guys,
I just picked up a 2005 SR5 Sport Edition V8 4wd 4runner. It has 73k miles on it and seems to be ready to be beefed up sooner than later!
I scored a great deal on it and I'm looking forward to my first ever 4runner, especially while living here in the beautiful state of Colorado. Anything that I should be looking into mechanically right away? What are some reasonable upgrades to look into?

nice, its unmolested lol Id say throw some armor under it, learn to wheel it, lift it, bumpers, winch, heck, its only money right ? lol
