Hello all! New to this board and 4-runners in general. Currently have a 03 Honda Accord coupe and will be hopefully getting something different later this fall. I've been leaning toward a 4x4 pickup for quite some time but now consindering a 4 runner. Its the only SUV that I think looks bad ass and still has all the off-road rugedness I"m looking for. I know I want a 4th gen and will probably buy used. I've been looking at 2003 models on the internet and have some questions on this particular year.
Whats is the HP/torque of the V6 and V8 models?
What the MPG ratings for these engines?
Do all the Sport Edition's in this year have the two-tone look?
When you have the JBL synthesis stereo package does it include a sub-woofer?
When you get the navigation, do you just get the basic stereo package (10 speakers vs. 7).
I'm sure I will think of some more. I found a 03 Limited 4x4 V8 with nav and 39,000 miles for $24,900. This seems like a good prices compared what they ask for that model new. I was leaning more toward a V6 SR5 4x4 but it seems that are only about 2g's less in prices. At that difference maybe it would be worth paying for the V8,leather, and nav. Does the limited with nav not really add that much resale? Like I said earlier I'm new to this vehicle and just started looking around. Thanks for the help!
