Newbie in need of mechanical help

My husband and I just recently (two weeks ago) purchased a 2005 4runner and I just noticed a issue that has been bugging the crap out of me since then.

When accelerating, between 1500-2000rpm we are getting a shutter, sounds and feels a lot like going over the rumble strips on the side of the road. I have also noticed the steering wheel shaking over 60mph and brake pedal pulsing when hitting the brakes.

Like I said this kinda bugs the crap out of me as we just got the thing. I haven't had a chance to take a look at the brakes or anything (which is what i figure it causing the brake issue) or get the alignment checked (which is what i suspect the steering wheel shaking is), but the shuddering doesn't feel like the alignment or brakes. I have never come across this issue with any of the vehicles I have owned or worked on.

Any ideas?

To be honest it sounds like you need your brakes, alignment and rotors checked immediately. I had the same issues and some people have lost control and have been in accidents. I recently did the tundra brake swap and I no longer have any issues
