newbie needs help!!

ok guys i have a 1993 ranger with the 3.0 4x4 auto trans. but i want more room! so i found a guy with a 1986 4runner with the 22r manual trans. would this be a smart trade? and also what kind of gas mileage do these 4runners get? anything i should know about them? all info is appreciated!

im in kingsport, tennessee. do you know if these trans. are hard to drive? cause i know how to drive a manual but iver never drove one that old and only have limited experience with manual

Guess what? I did the same thing with my Ranger and I was burned badly. Take it to a mechanic and make sure the engine's sound. I wound up dumping about 2k in the engine and the thing is still having issues.
