Newbie question

First post, I just purchased a used 2013 4Runner SR5. One thing I didn't notice until I got home is when the headlights are on and the keys out of the ignition I get no audible chime/beep indicating that the lights are on. Is this normal?

Yes - Now, before everybody esle: go read your manual. Your lights will go off automagically in about 30 seconds.
