Hey guys, figured I would introduce myself real quick. Picking up a '94 SR5 on Sunday. Very nice deal, the guy works in a mechanic shop out in Belfair & he bought the rig from a customer who didn't want to pay for repairs. Turned out to be pretty clean so he decided to turn it into his DD, new engine, transmission, belts, water pump, clutch etc etc. Then he ran into some back problems and can't drive her comfortably now. This is where I come in.
I've owned:
'83 BMW 633
'93 Jeep GC
'96 Celica
'86 BMW 635
All 4 of these have taught me how to turn a wrench one way or another, mostly all repairs though, no fun stuff. Since this rig definitely doesn't seem like it's going to break down anytime soon I'm excited to spec this car how I want it.
Right now I'm just cruisin' all the boards & sites I can find looking for accessories. Other than the new engine & etc, she's bone stock. Any suggestions you guys have would be great. It's going to be a DD so I can't make it too much of a toy, but so far I'm looking for: Cold air intake, new exhaust (all the way, even the heads), I'm going to be putting in a sound system, lift (3-4" I'm thinking...), grill guards, taillight guards. Thoughts?
