I'm planning on buying a '99 Limited 4x4 with 54,000 miles on it. The truck appears extremely clean inside and out, the mechanic says it's in excellent condition.
From a 'things that break down' point of view, is there anything that typically goes wrong with these trucks? I'd just like to be prepared, even if it is only a mantenace item
btw, I'm not new to Toyota, I've had several over the years (Camry, Corolla, & MR2) but this will be my first 4Runner.
I'm very excited about the purchase!
