The 2015 Overland Challenge is taking place in New Hampshire September 30-October 4, and will run a 4 day route from the NH/Maine border in Southern NH, up Mt. Washington, through and around the White Mountain National Forest, down to the Central NH/Vermont border, and will finish in the South Western part of the state. With two vehicles per team, you will pit your overland skills against the other teams in a battle to first place. Your vehicles, equipment, resilience, skills, and relationships with your navigator/co-pilot will be pushed to the limits and only one team can emerge the victor!

You don't think the 12.5 is overkill? I thought the 9.5 would be fine. I'm just thinking that with something stronger, it could end up doing damage to the frame/bumper.

Our pigs are pushing 6k as it is so 12.5 looks to be better choice. The line will most likely snap before the frame damage occurs. Although I did get stuck pretty bad once and broke my rear shock and shock mount on the fj. It was my fault though and the winch did its job.

I'm in the middle of deciding on buying a 28' sailboat. I feel it may be eating into my wheeling expenses lol.

What are the dates exact dates for that? I'd really like to go to that as well! Maybe i can swing it. FYI i'm only coming if there's Texas lolly pops involved and cold beer :hungry::cheers:
