I like the color scheme. It's very 1970's. On an 80's truck. What are the small black things on either side of the hood? They are on the top of the fenders.

They are placeholders for additional side mirrors. Many Jap cars have those.

I liked the yellow but was not won over. It would have shined up well and would have looked well with a black softtop on it .

I have one room for an additional 1st 4runner.....will wait for one that comes up that i can not refuse.

I want that steering wheel and the brown interior (to replace my grey interior).

I noticed that there is no roll bar in the back; was it not available for '84? The carpet doesn't appear to have any cutouts for the roll bar either, so it's unlikely it was removed.

No roll-bars in the models here. Must have been a USA safety requirement.

Amazing how there are no many different variations...notice the slight difference in the graphics,alloys and wing mirrors. (not sure if the fibreglass in the oz version is standard)

Sold for 3,600nzd (2,800 usd). I did (ssssh) bid for it but was outbidded. Would have tried to have bought it but had too many expenses this month and was working away from NZ ( in oz ) so collection would have being a pain.
