looking for some confirmation/help here...my brake lights do not come on at all, none of them. however, my tail lights still come on when the lights are turned on (same builbs right?) all fuses are good so I'm assuming it is the switch by the brake pedal. Has anyone replaced this before? it looks really difficult to get too. also, if anyone has a part number for it that would be great.

first issue with the truck thus far...help is appriciated. thanks fellas

My brother's Honda Pilot had the same issue, absolutely no brake lights but the running lights still worked. As it turned out all the brake light filaments were blown as well as the 3rd brake light.

That might sound crazy but what are the chances this is your situation?

Resurrecting an old thread because I don’t have the credentials to start a new thread.

I had the same issue on my 2005. No brake lights at all. Bulbs were good. Fuse was good. Switch was good. Tail lights and blinkers worked fine.

The issue was a corroded connector behind the driver’s side rear interior panel. It was still encased in the factory tape. I have no clue how water got in there. I’ve circled the location in the attached pic. Hopefully it saves someone some time tracing a brake light failure.

I just connected all of the brake light wires together (which is what the connector does via internal circuitry). They were all green with a yellow tracer.
