I got the RCI 5 degree sliders with step plate for my KDSS 2017 4Runner. Love them. On one side of the 4Runner the slider is identical to non-KDSS and on the other side is modified to go around a KDSS component. 60 lbs weight on one side and 50lbs for the other side. Lighter if you don't get the step plate.
5 degrees allows you to use it as a step to get into the 4Runner. My 7 year old daughter uses it to get into the back seat. That's why I also like the kickout on the RCI sliders. The step plate and 5 degress I also use to get access to the roof easier.

The Slee Sliders required me to make one (I think) existing bottom frame hole on the passenger side a little bigger, but I think that was about it.

RCI one didn't require any cutting. Just bolted on.

I have a 2019 TRD Off Road with KDSS and a 2inch Dobinsons lift. I started with RSG angled sliders with bump outs and no top plates. Loved the look, but they weren’t family friendly as far as climbing in like with the flimsy factory running boards. My wife and daughter hated the RSG sliders. Almost had a family friend break her ankle using them as a step.
I sold the RSG sliders and went with Victory 4x4 Strike sliders and those ended up p being exactly what we needed. They worked with KDSS, bolted on and did their job as rock sliders when we visited Arizona and did over 300 miles off road.
Photos are the factory running boards, then RSG sliders and finally the Victory 4x4. All the sliders bolt on and work with KDSS. Both of the sliders required very minor trimming of the KDSS skid plate. I’m talking a tiny thumbnail size notch. The Victory sliders require drilling two holes in the frame if you want to use them as serious rock sliders. No big deal for installing either set of sliders. The RSG were slightly easier to line up but they were both average installations.

Shrockworks makes sliders. KDSS shouldn't matter for sliders.

These are bolt on, super easy, did them in less than 2 hours with a buddy and some beer.

A lot of them are made for KDSS now. The difference is you have a pump on the side, so bolt on sliders need a break in the plate against the frame to fit around it.
Some, Cali Raised LED for example, require you to unbolt the KDSS line and pump brackets, pull them away from the frame, slide the plate of the slider underneath, and then reinstall. I would avoid this style, forceful movement of the brackets and lines will cause pressure and stretch on theses components. This is the very worst way to design something
