Since a while I have an intermittant no start/stall problem with my '94 4Runner Sr5
(151000M). Sometimes the engine check light won't come on when I turn the key on standby and the engine would crank but not start. After leaving the key in standby position for 1-2 minutes the light will eventually come on and the engine will start fine. It'll also stall out sometimes while driving. When I want to restart I have the same problem than with the nostart condition. The distributor, the battery, the ignitor and alternator are fine. I think it must be the EFI relay which delivers power to the engine check light and controls the fuel injection. What do you think? How easy is it to exchange the relay by myself, where do I get the part from and how expensive is the relay? Had it with 3 worthless mechanics that apparently know nothing about electrical systems.
