Toyota trucks are ragged on for being old tech...no keyless entry or push button start...still uses keys. Maybe we are too smart (or not) for our own good.

One problem happened when all of my door lock actuators failed was that I could only get into my driver’s side door with the key, I had to reach and manually unlock the rest of the doors, including the front passenger door which used to have keyed entry even into the early 2000s.
Manufacturers don’t give a damn past 3 years/36,000 miles.
