No fuel low light ?

I drove to work with the light on and "0" for the estimated milages left in the tank. Based on the 23 gallon capacity I had 1.8gallons left when I tanked up.
The light comes on with 3-4 gallons left in the tank. I usually just note when the light comes on and remind myself to fill up in the next 20-40 miles.

My fuel light didn't turn on when I had 20 miles left on the gas calculation meter. It has always come on when Ive had maybe 40 miles left. I filled up and it took 23.0 gallons. From reading this thread, there is a bulb that could have gone bad?
