No headlight warning buzzer?

I've had my ORP for a week and just noticed that when I removed the key and exited the vehicle with the headlights on, there was no warning buzzer. I only noticed they were on when I went to open the liftgate and saw the license plate lights on.

Should there be a warning buzzer? Is this a programmable option, or a fault that the dealer should repair?

If you lock your car twice.... they will turn off.

Theres also a timeout on them. I think its 30 seconds.

So, the driver needs to remember to double-click, but if not, they'll automatically go off after 30 seconds. But no warning buzzer, correct? (Edit: I just found the section in the owner's manual...thanks.)

Unless you turn them on without starting the engine, then they will stay on forever. I can’t remeber if I did headlights on then ignition on or the opposite but they never turned off after removing the keys or locking the door.

Was raining today on my way home, naturally I had the headlights on..when I got out and came in the house I must not have turned them off all the way, left them in the side marker position..still getting used to not having the auto headlights like my previous car..anyway, I locked the doors with the remote, went in the house. wife came home about an hour later and asked me if I knew the lights were on..I'm scratching my head like no way, sure enough the side markers were on..now I know the other lights will time out, but evidently that's not the case with the side markers..anyone else noticed this??

If you turn the engine off while the headlights are on, they will turn off on their own, doesn't matter if you lock the truck or not.

If you turn them on while the engine is off, they will stay on.
