I don't think you will have any problems. There are a few sections where the stock suspension might touch (last time I ran it in my wifes 4Runner it was stock and I touched once or twice), but it's this soft clay "rock" stuff (I think it's the under road bed from Hwy87) and its not going to hurt anything. You can bypass these parts through some deeper sand if you prefer. I don't think your tires are any concern either. Really, I think you could run stock suspension, stock tires, aired UP (not down) and still make it OK.
If you air down your tires and run in low range so you can use ATRAC through the first half that's a little rougher you'll have no problems. I think you are more likely to wind up thinking it was a little too easy. Besides, you will be with several other strong 4wd's with tow straps.

We are hashing out if we will head over Friday night and camp or stay somewhere or if we sould head out saturday early and stay Sat night. Migh still be too hot to camp on beach.... What are we looking at, just making the run, spending some time on the beach? How long does it take to make the run with some stops?

I'm betting camping on the beach will be fairly comfortable by then, forecast temps are night time lows of mid 70's and there is always some breeze at the beach. You definitely do NOT want to camp anywhere on the remote stretch - wilderness area, no mosquito control etc. The Crystal Beach to Gilchrist area is a popular region to camp if you go that route.
Typically it takes about 2-3 hrs of driving to go from Sabine Pass to High Island - that does NOT include stopping/checking things out. It typically takes us 4-5 hours stopping and goofing around. You can drive the beach all the way to the Ferry at Galveston from High Island (about 30 miles). The beach area from High Island to the Galveston Ferry is a lot smoother and you can drive it much faster if there isn't a lot of people on the beach.
About an hour drive (by beach) from High Island is a decent little beach grill to grab a burger - the Fantasea Grill at Roll Over Pass. My wife and I will probably go there and get a burger after the beach drive. The beach around Gilchrist (where the grill is) is much nicer and cleaner if you/your family are looking for swimming/typical beach activity.

Saturday's forecast calls for Daytime High of 81 at the Beach. They are saying it might be a little rainy that morning, obviously that's subject to change between now and then!
Rain or shine, I'm rolling!
Seeing how no one has suggested a time, how about a meet up time of 11:30am, scheduled departure of 12:00?
Sabine Pass public beach access, about 100yds west of entrance. Be aware there is some really deep sand right at the beach access entrance. It shouldn't be a problem for a 4Runner in 4wd, but it does cause problems for 2wd vehicles coming and going. The 2wd cars/trucks try to solve this issue w/ lots of speed so keep your eyes peeled!
Also be aware that when you leave Sabine Pass towards High Island you will have little to no cell phone coverage till about the 1/2way point.
