No more parking spots? No problem!

Well parking on the snow isn't a problem and using the unusable space others simply can't is creative. I do however have a problem with the Lexus being parked were it is on clearly a manicured grass hill at a sports complex or park. Luckily it isn't modified and can easily be mistaken for a Soccer Mom. The 4wd drive community already has enough issues with "Greenies" that we need to abide by the Tread Lightly rules even in the Urban environment. We do not need to attract more negative attention to our hobby.

Wonder if the original poster would have a problem with people parking on his yard?

Yeah, I think no one mentioned anything to this point cuz the OP used to own this board. I agree there Pikeman, we should definitely all tread lightly so we can keep our offroad privileges. it only takes one bad apple to ruin it all for us.

I have been off roading for years and every group I have gone with subscribes to this theory. I am surprised how far this thread went before somebody mentioned it something about it.

how i parked the other day during lunch.

Haha. I just started playing with parking lot dividers. I mean, a double curb with muddy grass in between is a pain in the arse usually, and it's fun to drive over knowing that I can. Christ, I had an Impala as a rental three weeks ago and a two inch bump would freak me out, lol.

Seriously, I drive right over curbs and **** all the time. I especially like it when I'm waiting to make a right turn, but the person in the lane won't get over far enough. Up the curb :)

Same goes for lefts... when that one person is just too close and you can't squeeze in that lane. Median means nothing, now!

I'm still getting familiar with how it feels, but I've been eying all sorts of curbs and concrete whenever I'm jammed in traffic. The wanton spreading of curbs throughout a shopping mall city is downright maddening. I'm just scared it's going to turn me into a bad driver and make me incapable of having a sports car someday.

:roadkill:

Oh shoot!! I'm the same way!!

Are you my long lost brother in Mission Viejo, CA?!?! haha

I love it when there's pedestrians watching too...it gives them a story for that afternoon haha

Love it even more because it's the Lexus version. Never really expect those owners to do stuff like this.
