Looks like a FAL, but a little hard to be certain. Yeah, no - that ain't happening in California. My brother is in NC where I think it's against the law to not have one. ;-)

Fellas, that is a AK variant. Magpul to my knowledge doesn't make FAL furniture.
Any one know who makes that mounting platform?

thats an ak47 with magpul furniture... loving the folding magpul zhukov stock!! i wouldn't want to get pulled over when thats exposed, it could get really bad!

I mean its cool for like storage when going hunting or you have a hired bodyguard in the back but so impractical if someones trying to get into the car or is in the car already trying to kill you, but yet it is a good use of space for travel.

Actually, in California the most it could be is an umbrella holder. It could probably hold two though.
