OK so I haven't posted to much here but read quite often, LOTS of nice 4runners on here.
I've had some question on mine so I figured I would post some pictures from the last 2 years of me building mine.
It is a JD Fab front end, with Kings, with JD Fab Steering kit, It does just shy of 13" bumped and strapped.
The rear is Custom Deavers to support that fat 3000Lbs. rear axle weight with my gear in it. The first Leaf spring pack had 13 leafs in it, I flattened them and the new ones have 15 leafs, it rides GREAT and is keeping their shape after 2 long brutal trips. And Kings again - King Valved both ends once I told them where everything was through the Cantilever setup I designed - 12" Shock 16" of travel, bumped and strapped, with room to go 18" if needed.

I posted that one on purpose to see who noticed. I actually changed the one where you couldn't see his feet for that one.
And the next day he got weld slag in his eye somehow, he always has safety glasses on, and of course a weld helmet while welding, lucky for me a buddy is an opthamologist we got a free office visit.

I'm not usually a safety nazi, as I say let grownups be grownups, but please put the sandals away while he's building your rig.

Three things: Rig looks sick!, Looks like sand lake and nice collapsable stock in the lap... looks to have a buffer tube so im gonna guess m16/m4ish.

sweet runner. i have a blazeland lt in front of my 1st gen runner and love it. its not as fancy as your since i use mine for rock crawling.
the rear end set up is sweet. was it a kit or your in the suspension business. i know its not easy to do a rear end set up like that

He will learn that Flip Flops are not good to weld in, but he is actually good enough at 11 to not worry about dropping molten steel on his foot while welding vertical. And the good thing about welding in Flip Flops is that the sparks melt into them instead of rolling under your foot.
Nobody noticed he has on my shoes in the sawzall picture?
Just to make everyone feel better here are some pictures of him installing new rotors and bearings on my spindles with his feet covered. :second:
And him installing my new fuel pump while I had the tank out for the cantilever, in FlipFlops. :embarassed:

The picture were actually taken in the Dunes in and around Christmas Valley OR, sand is much different than Sand Lake, more silt - super fine powder -.

Yes, it is AR15 ish , it is a KAC SR-15 with an AAC can on it, for those "Quiet", night time jackrabbit eradication missions for the farmers.
